Celebrate Human Rights Day 2022 in the Heart Of JHB!

Our second of twelve public holidays for 2022 (1 January was the first one, if you’re wondering). Now, if you’re pretty wise and if possible, you’ll apply for leave on Friday, 18 March 2022, to get 4 days off instead of just 3… because more is always better!

If it’s not possible, at least there’s the long Easter weekend just around the corner. Anyways, what are we actually celebrating instead of just long weekends? Human Rights Day on Monday, 21 March 2022 – the affirmation by ordinary people rising in unison to proclaim their rights.

There are loads of fun and worthwhile things to do on South Africa’s first commemorative day, and we’re giving you a breakdown.

Sandton Central invites you to Alto234 from now until 31 March 2022! The what now?! You may ask… Well, the highest urban bar in Africa combined with a journey through The Leonardo Art. Just Parks, Restaurants & Shopping

Perhaps you’re just looking into doing something that’s chilled? Then consider taking the family for a picnic in one of Sandton’s beautiful parks (before the cold hinders us from enjoying the outdoors), or enjoy breakfast dinner or lunch at a Sandton restaurant you haven’t been to before (remember new things in 2022), or just throw yourself in some relaxing retail therapy.

May your Human Rights Day be a memorable one, Sandton!
