    Sandton City Parking

    Sandton City Shopping Centre, Rivonia Road
    Mon–Sat 08:00–21:00, Sun 09:00–19:00 (mall hours apply)
    Entrances from Rivonia Rd, West St & Sandton Dr. Accessible bays available.
    Multi-level basement and above-ground parking. Over 5 000 bays.

    Nelson Mandela Square Parking

    Nelson Mandela Square, Maude Street
    Open daily 07:00–23:00
    Direct access to Nelson Mandela Square restaurants and Sandton City.
    Basement parking. ~1 200 bays.

    The Marc Parking

    The Marc, Rivonia Road & Maude Street
    Open 24 hours (access card required after hours)
    Serves The Marc office towers. Visitor parking at ground level.
    Basement and podium parking. Approx. 800 bays.

    LXX Parking

    70 Rivonia Road, Sandhurst, Sandton
    Mon–Fri 07:00–22:00, Sat 08:00–20:00, Sun 09:00–18:00
    Entrances from Rivonia Road. Visitor and tenant parking available.
    Basement and surface parking. Serves LXX Sandhurst retail and offices.

    24 Central Parking

    6 Gwen Lane, Sandown, Sandton
    Open daily. Extended hours during events.
    Located in the heart of the Alice Lane precinct.
    Surface and structured parking serving the 24 Central entertainment complex.

    Benmore Gardens Parking

    Benmore Gardens Mall, Grayston Drive
    Mon–Fri 08:00–19:00, Sat 08:00–18:00, Sun 09:00–17:00
    Easy access from Grayston Drive interchange off the N1.
    Open-air and undercover parking. Approx. 1 800 bays.

    Public Transport

    Sandton Central is exceptionally well connected by Gautrain, bus, and taxi services.

    Gautrain

    • Sandton Gautrain station is in the heart of the district at Rivonia Road & West Street.
    • Direct service from OR Tambo International Airport - approximately 15 minutes.
    • Trains to Rosebank, Park Station (Johannesburg CBD), Hatfield, and Pretoria.
    • Weekday peak: trains every 7–12 minutes. Off-peak and weekends: every 20 minutes.
    • Purchase Gautrain cards at the station or online at gautrain.co.za.
    • Gautrain bus feeder routes connect Sandton station to surrounding suburbs.

    Minibus Taxis

    • Sandton Central is well-served by minibus taxi routes from surrounding townships and suburbs.
    • Main taxi rank located at Sandton City, accessible from West Street.
    • Routes operate to Alexandra, Midrand, Randburg, Soweto, and Johannesburg CBD.
    • Taxis typically run 05:00–21:00 on weekdays, with reduced frequency on weekends.

    Rideshare

    Uber and Bolt operate across Sandton Central with fast pickup times.

    Uber

    Uber operates extensively in Sandton Central. Designated pickup points are marked at Sandton City (Nelson Mandela Square entrance), Sandton Sun, and the Gautrain station. Use the in-app directions to find the correct pickup bay.
