A brand-new year is in full swing, and with it comes renewed energy and the buzz of Sandton Central coming back to life after the holidays. As school and work routines return, we’re delighted to welcome everyone back to the vibrant heart of the city for what promises to be an exciting year ahead.

This month, the spotlight is on Meetings Africa at the Sandton Convention Centre. Running from 23 to 25 February, it remains the continent’s leading business events trade show, partnering with African destinations to position the continent as a competitive choice for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. Sandton Central is proud to once again host this showcase event.

Of course, February is also the month of love and there’s plenty happening across our neighbourhood to make it a sensational one. Highlights include unforgettably sumptuous dinners for two at the Balalaika, The Leonardo and The Onomo Hotels. The DAVINCI Hotel & Suites invites you to an exquisite Valentine’s dinner at Maximillien Restaurant, crafted to captivate the senses with fine cuisine and elegant ambiance. At Hotel Sky Sandton, love truly looks better at altitude with the Love in the Clouds Valentine’s Dinner at Eclipse Restaurant. The Maslow Sandton brings romance to the garden with its Valentine’s Sunday Society Picnic on 15 February, complete with bubbly, gourmet picnic dining and live entertainment. Over at LXX Sandhurst, several dining favourites like MILA Modern Greek, Cowfish, SINN and Tasha’s offer thoughtful flavour pairings perfect for the occasion.

Book lovers are also in for a treat at Sandton Library’s monthly book sale at Nelson Mandela Square on 26 and 27 February, giving readers the perfect excuse to stock up on fresh reads and support a local literary gem.
