Never Give Up: It’s Not Impossible! – Tips For Self Motivation

“Courage doesn’t always roar; sometimes it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day whispering, ‘I will try again tomorrow.” – Mary Anne Radmacher

Sometimes in life, we want to give up no matter how strong we are. We feel like we could just give up on work, relationships, trying to reach a goal…and those are times we need some or lots of encouragement.

We are humans, and we long for an inspirational quote or a pep talk just to push us in the opposite direction of the Q word. There are boundless inspirational quotes at your fingertips, but if you’re still not sure if you can chug along on your current path? We got you!

Here are some valuable tips for self-motivation to assist you in your journey to never give up.

We want to encourage you to cultivate a mindset of determination to get through life’s difficulties but also to motivate and inspire the people around you to do the same. How? Well, by applauding them for reaching their goals and supporting those still trying and haven’t quite got there yet.

Here are some tips for self-motivation for mastering the art of never giving up:

  • Start by pausing: Instead of quitting, pause, stand back and gain a new perspective on things. Resting is a powerful weapon and could help you find the wisdom and strength for the next steps.
  • Self-motivation: Figure out what motivates you – watching, listening or reading motivational material such as biographies or podcasts. If you find the golden path to motivation for you, it’s easier to influence others by recommending the same or alternatives.
  • Resilient people: This is exactly what you need because they make a big difference. Here’s quick math – we are the average of the five people we spend most of our time with; if you spend time with 5 individuals who always give up, well…
  • Be positive: We’re not suggesting to be blindly positive all the time, but being positive in our cynical world, pays off. It doesn’t mean that you suddenly don’t have problems or worries, but you’ll be amazed at how good things get and how it makes you feel when you try to see the good things in every situation.
  • Honesty is vital: We all want the best, the most, and the whatever, but if you’re not honest with yourself – that’s when people end up quitting. How do you feel? What do you want? Who are you?

Let’s give a quick example – If you’re not happy with your job but pretend that it’s your dream job because that’s what others expect of you, you’ll feel more inclined that you want to give up… Change that and be honest with yourself.

Only when you’ve mastered your inner-Rocky, you can distribute motivation with impact to friends and family that might find themselves in challenging times. You can make a massive difference, and you’ll feel happier and more positive once you’ve tried it.
