June’s Supper Club at Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton’s Vivace restaurant
The Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton’s Vivace restaurant recently reintroduced Supper Clubs to the Johannesburg market. With a focus on the perfect pairing of locally sourced ingredients, wines and the soothing sounds of local entertainment, enthusiasts can mark their calendars each month to join the Vivace Supper Club to experience an exciting, once-off menu.
June’s Supper Club menu draws inspiration from a third-generation family run, free-range duck farm, just outside of Magaliesburg. The farm has an ISO 22000 grading which sets it on par with the highest international grading benchmark for quality, sustainability and most importantly, integrity.
Guests can expect fresh takes on local legends such as the infamous ‘Garage Pie’ we’ve all experienced at one point in our life or another, as well as much loved classics such as duck confit. Each course is paired with local wines to compliment the meal and highlight the seasonal flavours.
In addition, Supper Club guests are to be entertained by Will Rayz, breathing new life into the golden age ‘dinner and a show’ concept with his smooth covers of popular and older songs.
Vivace’s June Supper Club commences on the last Thursday of the month, the 30th of June at 6:30pm. The 4-course menu, wine pairing and entertainment costs R450 per person.
