<\/p>\nLights, camera, action! South African Fashion Week (SAFW) will be underway at Sandton City Rooftop\u2026 providing a breath-taking view of Sandton City in all its splendour.<\/p>\n
The much-awaited fashion show, which will open its doors to 53 collections, commences on October 24th and will wrap up on October 28th. It\u2019s worth noting that SAFW is in its 20th year showcasing and over those years, it\u2019s seen over 10 000 guests in attendance!<\/p>\n
And, once again, this season\u2019s show will put the spotlight on the diversity and innovation of the South African designers all residing and manufacturing in the country.<\/p>\n

Among the talented designers you can look forward to is the four new streetwear kids on the block\u2026 100% Young Blood Apparel, Urban Outlaw 69, Bi Parel and The Watermelon Social Club!\u00a0If you love De Montigny\u2019s work, then you\u2019ll be happy to know she will show her collection in a shared show with well-known South African designers, Sober and African Style Story. On that day, to wrap up day two, Rubicon will have a standalone Runway Show.<\/p>\n
The Rubicon label is a triumphant story that arrived on the fashion scene in 2007. Now, ten years later, Hangwani Nengovhela is one of the most respected designers in the fashion industry.\u00a0We love that Aero is making a daring comeback this season with the Aero Collections featuring young designer Ri.ch Factory and one of South Africa\u2019s favourite designers Palesa Mokubung showing her Mantsho Collection, you would not want to miss this spectacular show!<\/p>\n
The much-loved Sun Goddess design duo Vanya and Thando Mangaliso will also be attendance, showcasing their gorgeous collection.<\/p>\n
This five-day fashion fair will be packed with nothing but the best in South African fashion designs, trailblazers, innovators and more! From ladies and menswear, accessories, shoes, bags, head wraps and activewear\u2026 this year\u2019s SAFW is one to behold.<\/p>\n
The opening party will be hosted by Cruz Vodka, where the cream-of-the-crop celebrities, media, and designers will be in attendance.<\/p>\n
