Who else can do with a proper vacation?! Everyone, <em>indeed<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>By this time, under <em>normal<\/em> circumstances, many people would\u2019ve taken a mid-year break and feel re-energised for the remaining months, but with Covid-19, travel has been restricted, and we\u2019ve been through our <em>fair share<\/em> of lockdown levels\u2026<\/p>\n<p>However, there is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Relaxation_Day\"><strong>Relaxation Day<\/strong><\/a> on Sunday, 15 August 2021. \u2018<em>What, every Sunday is relaxation day\u2019<\/em>, you might add. You\u2019re not wrong, but how many people <em>really<\/em> do relax on Sundays because our weekends are just so short that whatever we didn\u2019t do on Saturday need to be completed before Monday sneaks upon us.<\/p>\n<p>Need some tips for relaxation?\u00a0 We&#8217;ll show you here.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Slow Down\u2026 Breath and Relax!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Have you been stressed lately? We guess everyone has. More and more people become familiar with it, especially with the many challenges life poses nowadays &#8211; the <em>big<\/em> \u2018C\u2019, long working hours, children to look after, not to mention everything else.<\/p>\n<p>To relax is essential <em>too<\/em> &#8211; it gives us a chance to unwind and take things easy. Experience the relaxation benefits of a quick hand massage combined with lavender-scented lotion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What makes you laugh? <\/strong>Find funny videos online which will help increase endorphins released by your brain, making you feel relaxed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Grab a choccie: <\/strong>Studies show that even just 40 grams of dark chocolate a day can help you destress\u2026 Already have a bar of chocolate in mind? <em>Great!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Take a mental break: <\/strong>Sit back, close your eyes and imagine seeing yourself at a restaurant or your favourite fashion store in <a href=\"https:\/\/sandtoncentral.co.za\/\">Sandton Central<\/a>.
