Sandton Central Newsletter - February 2024
12 February 2024
It’s a brand new month and we’re excited to bring you all the latest news and events that make Sandton Central the vibrant heart of the city.
This February, we’re proud to host the 6th annual Joburg Film Festival, a highlight of our cultural calendar. Taking place from 28 February to 1 March at the Sandton Convention Centre and the Theatre on the Square, this year’s festival is especially poignant as South Africa marks 30 years of democracy. Presented by MultiChoice, the festival celebrates South African stories, legends, and the excellence in filmmaking that has emerged over the past three decades. The festival is a testament to creativity and the rich tapestry of our cultural heritage. You’re invited to be inspired by storytellers and legends from both behind and in front of the camera. For those who prefer the sunshine and soft grass beneath their feet, take a leisurely picnic on the first Sunday of the month at The Maslow. It’s the perfect setting for a lazy day out with friends, complete with delicious food and refreshing drinks. For more details click here.
Of course, February is the month of love and an array of romantic experiences await. Whether you're planning a surprise for your significant other or a special dinner, Hotel Sky, Hilton, The Maslow, The Balalaika are offering Valentine’s Day specials that will elevate your celebration.
