Sandton Central Newsletter - August 2020
24 August 2020

We’ve levelled up again, opening up even more of the economy. This is such good news. While we are still in unusual times, for many it is pretty much business as usual… well, with a little extra cleaning and more personal space.

It is important to remember that we’ve also been urged to continue to be safe. This is good advice to follow in order to stay on a positive path back to health, economic activity and, ultimately, a stronger community. Wear your mask, keep a safe distance, practise hygiene - these are small, simple actions, with big benefits for everyone.

While lockdown restrictions have eased, COVID-19 is still very much a reality, as is the related uncertainty. It’s always worth listening to advice that comes from medical professionals to understand how to keep your children healthy through COVID-19. Morningside Clinic expert paediatrician, Dr Enrico Maraschin, has shared his knowledge to clear up some of the general confusion around children wearing face masks, vaccines, asthma risks and online consultations. Scroll down for more.

Our Men in Red have been steadfast in looking after Sandton Central and everyone in it throughout the lockdown. They are among the many guardian angels that have gone above and beyond to keep our community safe when we need it the most, including our medical, healthcare and community workers. Retail workers have also been an amazing pillar of support to all. We appreciate each and every one of you.

There’s glorious warm weather ahead and the re-opening of two of our parks - Mushroom Park and Sandton Central Park - is perfectly timed to take sunny days in your stride while you look after your health. After all, few things can’t be improved with a little bit of sunshine and fresh air.

As we take cautious steps to reconnect safely, webinars and other online events remain as popular as ever as a source of inspiration and learning. We’re getting behind this by sharing the details of memorable and unmissable webinars on our social platforms. If you’ve created a great webinar, let us know, and we’ll share it. You can also share your news right here on our newsletter - send it to Mahlatse@marketingconcepts.co.za.
