While not open to the public, The Leonardo will be hosting a truly remarkable event on 6 December. The CHARNAUD Race to the Top is South Africa’s first official firefighter stair running challenge. Fifty firefighters will compete in full gear (weighing up to 20kg), racing up all 57 floors of the country’s tallest building. It's a monumental feat of endurance and the
first step on the road to the World Firefighter Championships in 2027.
