LXX SANDHURST OPENS ITS DOORS: A NEW ERA OF LUXURY RETAIL AT 70 RIVONIA ROAD

The long-awaited luxury lifestyle retail centre, LXX Sandhurst, officially opened its doors to the public on July 25, 2024. Located at 70 Rivonia Road, Sandhurst, LXX Sandhurst is set to become Sandton's premier destination for high-end lifestyle and leisure.

This innovative lifestyle hub offers a seamless experience for shoppers, combining convenience with style and sophistication. With free parking, clever traffic flows, and a robust security system, LXX Sandhurst ensures a seamless and secure visit. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi and unwind in a beautifully designed piazza that provides a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The centre boasts exceptional design, from its exteriors to its interiors, creating a luxurious ambiance to every visit. Notable tenants that began operations at the end of July include Checkers, Pet Science, Clicks, Dough & Co, Cowfish, Baglios Gelato, toast&co, AURA Laser & Beauty, NUDO Hair Lab, and Bespoken Man.

We will then see the additions of several more tenants, including Checkers Liquor Shop, tashas, Mosso, MILA, SINN, Golflocker, and LUXX the Venue.

During a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony, Alexi Cavaleros, Head of International Acquisitions at the Cavaleros Group, shared insights on the project's transformation. "The LXX Sandhurst site was once IBM’s office, known for its face brick exterior. Instead of waiting for another office tenant, we envisioned a retail centre—one that many doubted could succeed. Today, after a year and a half, we proudly present a fully leased, completed centre."

Mr. Cavaleros extended his gratitude to the Cavaleros Group, partners, tenants, RMB, Skyscape Architects, and TIBER for their roles in bringing this vision to life. He promised more exciting developments and innovations for Sandhurst in the future.

The public’s response on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. Local entrepreneur Odette Leibner commented, “Massive congratulations! This stunning place is exactly what Sandton needs and will undoubtedly thrive.” Keabetsoe Gaelisiwe, a local professional, shared, “It has been a pleasure watching this project unfold. Congratulations on the opening!” Meanwhile, local parent Nalene Pillay expressed excitement, “Finally, a convenient shopping option on my way to St David’s school. I have been eagerly waiting for this!” Sasha Sankar added, “I visited for lunch, and it is fabulous! It is wonderful to have more variety in the area.”
