Friends of the Sandton Library - Book Donation Drive

The FRIENDS OF THE SANDTON LIBRARY raise funds on behalf of the Sandton Library through regular Book Sales, held at the library, for the purchase of new popular and reference books.

SANDTON LIBRARY
Soak up over 92,000 books in the heart of Sandton’s bustling shopping mecca.

A place to escape in peaceful, book-filled pleasure. In the beautiful Sandton Library on Nelson Mandela Square, you can surround yourself with three floors of books; relax on the couches, disappear into a novel, and make use of the computer and Internet facilities.

The library offers a collection of over 92,000 books as well as audiobooks, videos, music CDs, language tapes, the local daily and weekly newspapers, periodicals and the Provincial and Government Gazettes.

The Sandton Library is open to all members of the community. Membership is required should you wish to borrow material. To join, take along a copy of your ID and proof of residency and fill out a form at the Sandton Library. There is an annual fee of R48,00.
